I used this to create 4 different unique meshes.

I exported 3 different versions of the material from Substance Designer which, in combination with the mesh variants, created 12 pretty unique looking croissants.

Procedural Croissants

A quick, fun little project to create croissants fully procedurally using Houdini to create simple shape variants and Substane 3D Designer to generate all the surface details. I used a "croissant distribution" algorithm to place them into the basket... Joking! ;P I opted to place them manually instead of using physics as it gave me better control. The basket was modelled in Houdini following this excellent tutorial from CGSIDE (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qs5Sk6QPGcM).

Credit to my friend Hannah for the idea and to my wife for the "croissant distribution" joke. Shows she must actually listen when I waffle on about algorithms! Now that's love!
